Introduction
The African Conference/Workshop will provide opportunities for internationally renowned resource persons to identify possible areas of collaboration to African institutions and assist in training some of their staff to acquire Ph.D. and Post-doctoral research experience/ qualifications in critical areas relevant to the teams of the Conference/Workshop. Finally, this Conference/Workshop is currently a biennial event with hands-on sessions.

About the University of Nigeria, Nsukka
The University of Nigerian was established on October 7, 1960 as the first indigenous University in Nigeria. It has two major campuses at Nsukka and Enugu both in Enugu State, South-eastern, Nigeria. The main Campus of the University is located in Nsukka, which is about 80km North West of Enugu. The geographical area is characterized by savannah grassland with scattered strands of trees. The climate is serene, pleasant and healthy. The university of Nigeria, Nsukka has sixteen (16) faculties and well over eighty (80) academic departments and over 40, 000 students.
