The Nano Research Group in the early hours of today being the 26th March 2025, welcomed members of the National Association of Physics Students University of Nigeria Nsukka who paid a courtesy visit to Nano Research Lab University of Nigeria Nsukka. The aim of the excursion is to understand the scope of nanotechnology/solid state physics as well as have clear insights in career navigation particularly in nanoscience.
The delegation was led by the NAPS President Ihechukwu Chimdindu Godstime and was warmly welcomed by the Coordinator of Nano Research Group, Prof. Fabian I. Ezema who appreciated their vision/efforts towards advancing their career/research via nanotechnology and their determination to visit Nano Research Lab.
The students were then led to the Lab by Mr. Charles who is the Chief Labouratory Technician. Mr. Charles attended to the students in batches, showing them/ explaining vividly various categories of machines/sections in the lab and their respective uses. The visit was characterized by enthusiasm, passion, vision, happiness on both the side of the students and Faculty members; in attendance were all Physics students in the University ranging from 100 level (first year) to final year students.
The NAPS President on behalf of the students expressed satisfaction to Nano Research Lab by giving them such an amazing opportunity to explore the spheres of the Lab and to have a better understanding of Nanotechnology and also how to navigate their career perspective.
